Lieberman, Can You Take McCain With You?
The Hill reported today that Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) is open to a reunion with the Democrats, after all. As if he truly ever left. Slapping an “I” after your name didn’t make you any less of a liberal, and neither did supporting John McCain.
For those who don’t know, Liberman ran as an Independent after some nameless anti-war guy beat him for the spot on the Dem. ticket in Connecticut.
Even after supporting McCain in the last presidential election, the Dems left him as Chairman of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.
I encourage Lieberman to return to his family. Just one thing, can you take John McCain with you. And, while you’re at it, can you take Meghan, too?
