Her point was simple - Stewart's show had 8 years of making fun of Bush, and even if you were a Republican you loved to laugh at Bush, and it did so wonderfully. So when Obama was elected, many viewers were looking forward to the same level of humor, but what we are getting is repeated jokes about how Republicans are reacting to Obama with minimal jokes about the current administration itself. Now, there are jokes at Obama's expense, but if you actually watch the show you must notice that they are far easier on the Dems then they are on the Reps. If you don't see that, you are not watching the show very closely. Now, Stewart is free to slant his show however he wants, but if I may speak for the OP for a moment, what she found funny was the lambasting of the government, and that just doesn't happen any more on the show as Stewart agrees with most of what the government is doing.
