$100,000? Please, that’s chump change!

My Big-Sexy-stealing (she finally got the chocolates), Jell-O wrestle challenging, Lady Godiva Tea Party Promoting homegirl arch nemesis might just have a point here:

Obama may be faithful in the small things—they are planting a garden after all—but he’s muffed it on the large scale. But with brilliant PR moves like this one, that doesn’t really matter, and Obama knows it. If he can distract the media (and society with it) by tending a garden and paying for pillows, there will be much less time to notice his taxpayer-funded spending spree and the looming massive deficits.

Refusing the $100,000 is another PR stunt from the propaganda machine that is the Obama administration. Forget a drop in the bucket; this is a drop in the ocean. Thanks for your generosity, Mr. President! Way to set the bar by being so frugal. I just wish you were that frugal when it came to the budget, your “stimulus” plan, the socializing “overhauling” of health care, etc.
