Hola! Me llamo “Vote for Me”

And, President Obama pushes forward with his lofty goals. I think this is his strategy: hit them with so much so quickly they don’t have time to react before something new is shoved on them by the elite.

We’ve had stimulus bills, bailouts, health care reform, and energy proposals introduced, pushed, and passed. Still upset about any of those? Don’t know which one to be more upset about? Well, wait a minute, Here comes more!

It appears the legalization of approximately 12 to 20 million illegal immigrants (depending on which estimate you want to go with) is next:

While acknowledging that the recession makes the political battle more difficult, President Obama plans to begin addressing the country’s immigration system this year, including looking for a path for illegal immigrants to become legal, a senior administration official said on Wednesday.

Mr. Obama will frame the new effort — likely to rouse passions on all sides of the highly divisive issue — as “policy reform that controls immigration and makes it an orderly system,” said the official, Cecilia Muñoz, deputy assistant to the president and director of intergovernmental affairs in the White House.

One would think when Americans are losing jobs at a record pace we wouldn’t be legalizing the people who have broken the law by sneaking into our country illegally, stolen jobs from the people who need them the most, depressed wages for those who need it the most, and committed countless other crimes while in our country. But, this is the presidency of Barack Obama. Common sense be damned! He will make this country in his image whether we like it or not!

People, it is our responsibility to stop this. Obama thinks he’s too cool for school. He thinks he is The One. He thinks he can do whatever he likes. He cannot and we cannot let him. I have said before, we might have to wait four years to kick him out, but we don’t have to wait that long to start letting our representatives know that their positions aren’t as secure.

Why do we hold Mexicans “looking for a better life” to a different standard than we hold ourselves? If we’re unhappy with our government, our elected leaders, we do something about it. We don’t illegally sneak into Canada or Mexico, or anywhere else. We change things. If they don’t like their country, let them do something about in their own country. Hopping over our border and stealing our jobs shouldn’t be one of their options. Their government’s failures are not our responsibility!

And, it’s not just Mexicans we need to worry about. This is a national security issue. This is an economic issue. America, when are you going to wake up?

Instead of passing legislation that will re-incentivize illegal immigration, why don’t we enforce the laws already in place and force these illegals out? They will exit if we stop giving them jobs. Let’s change the born on American soil rule and get rid of these anchor babies. Mexicans are stealing jobs from my family members. Not jobs that Americans won’t do, jobs that American’s won’t do for $2 an hour while living in a one bedroom apartment with thirty other people.

We have tried amnesty before. It has obviously failed. I think we need a moratorium on immigration in general but, we definitely need to put an end to this. I’m not against immigrants. My mother is an immigrant. My brother once said of her father, my Opa (we’re Dutch–look it up), “The cool thing about Opa is, he’s so proud to be Dutch, but he’s even prouder to be an American.”

If we’re going to let people in, these are the type of people. Hard workers who fly over here with their spouse, three young children, five hundred dollars, and work their butts off to make a success of themselves. People who love where they come from, but love where they arrived even more. People attracted to America because of what America supposedly stands for who want to stand for the same thing.

America, we have squashed this before. We can do it, again! It is your duty as an American to stand up to this idiocy. This is just a ploy by Obama and other politicians (and, they are on all sides, both parties) to lure in the hispanic vote. It’s another block they want to lock down, another special interest. They are under the false impression if they grant amnesty they will win. We can prove them wrong. Now, let’s do it.
