Yes, Meghan McCain bashing is quickly becoming my new favorite sport.

As if this picture and outfit weren’t enough to make me want to hit Meghan McCain in the face (Sorry, I’m a violent person!), but then I read the rest of the article:
Political blogger Meghan McCain isn’t exactly the toast of D.C. right now.
Sen. John McCain’s daughter — who writes online for The Daily Beast and will soon release a book about life as a Republican — lost it after getting stopped by security when she arrived at the White House Correspondents dinner Saturday. The problem? She had only two tickets, but brought two friends.
“The security guard sent her to talk to someone to sort out the situation, but Meghan got bratty and nastily told him, ‘We’ll just stand here then,’ like an insolent child,” our source said, adding that after dealing with the guard, “She muttered to her friends, ‘Does he even know who the f— I am?’”
In response to your question, Miss McCain, no, he doesn’t know who the eff you are. Not many people do. You need to learn to get over yourself. Unfortunately for you, the press is giving you this false sense of importance as they fawn over you just because you’re a liberal “Republican.” You’re starting to think that you’re special and…famous? You’re not.
Do you know the percentage of Americans who can’t even name the Vice President? You think some security guard is going to know you? You aren’t Paris Hilton. You’re Meghan McCain. Why would anyone know who you are, because you took a shot at Ann Coulter? Because you tweeted about Karl Rove creeping you out? Because you’re father’s John McCain? Wait, I know. It must have been that appearance on The View. Get over yourself!
Oh and by the way, I thought that Wanda Sykes’ routine was stupid. I thought her delivery was even worse than her material, but I feel the need to clarify something for you. That joke that was quoted wasn’t about your mother and, even if it were, wives are fair game in politics. I’m not saying whether that’s wrong or right. It just is. Your mother was fair game during the campaign, just as Michelle Obama was then and still is now. Grow up! Quit it with your political advice, over-sensitivity, and faked outrage. No one is buying it.

This is why we are in the sorry state of Obamanation right now. People will always take reporters at their word when it suits them politically. What evidence is there besides the reporter’s word that this is true? Hell, the article is even listed under ‘Gossip’.
Never take a reporter at his word. They are scum of the earth.

No, I’m sorry.
Meghan McCain is exactly the kind of spoiled little brat that would say something like this.
I have no trouble buying it.
The reality is, Meghan, unless you bash Republicans, nobody knows, or cares, who you are.
Unless you decide to reveal your hot steamy love affair with Ellen Degeneres, your 15 minutes were over a long time ago.

I was inclined to believe this happened, if only for the reason that MTV-Republican Meghan McCain has been getting tons of favorable press for a stretch now. If she should start standing up for conservative principles, I suspect that would be the rapid end of it.
