No vote in Congress is a win for America. Let’s kill this bill! Here is how…
No vote before recess is good news for America:
The Senate will not vote on health care reform legislation before the August congressional recess, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday.
“We’ll come back in the fall,” Reid said at a Capitol Hill news conference.
“I think that it’s better to have a product that is one that’s based on quality and thoughtfulness rather than trying to jam something through.”
This is our opportunity to make a difference. And, by “our” I don’t mean Republicans, as I don’t consider myself one. This is our opportunity as Americans to tell our representatives what we think of these ridiculous bills being passed, not just health care.
Democrat of Republican, everyone has to be realizing by now what is happening to America. Other than campaign promises made to the most liberal members of his party (think closing Gitmo and overturning DOMA), Obama has not been keeping his campaign promises to the American public.
Transparency is non-existent. What happened to letting the public view a bill for five days before he signed it? Broke that promise on the first bill and has continued to break it. As Michelle Malkinkeeps saying, “Obama lied, transparency died!” Corruption scandals are popping up everywhere, even if the MSM isn’t reporting on it. The deficit has ballooned. He is saddling our children with more debt than we can even comprehend.
We can’t stop him for three and a half more years (Yeah, I know. Hard to believe this much damage has been caused in only six months. Think of what more will happen if we don’t stop this now), but we can stop members of Congress by letting them know the votes won’t be there the next time around if they vote yes on bills that will break our country economically.
Can I declare August official Tea Party month? I mean, if every person took one day off of work every single day, that would have to send a message. A large group once every couple of months says something, but even if everyday there is at least one different person there to remind them they are not guaranteed reelection, that will have to have an impact. And, let’s do some large parties, too. Find every event they are doing in your state and be there. August recess is our time to take the power back!

“We can’t stop [Obama] for three and a half more years.”
Well, maybe not totally, but if the GOP (or Tea Party?) takes back one or both houses in 2010, Obama may be effectively reduced to being holed up in his bunker and issuing orders to non-existent troops. “Hope & Change” will morph into “Veto and Executive Order”…and that doesn’t augur for the Obamian Revolution.
Obama is like many species of sharks: he has to constantly keep moving and keep passing water over his gills. Otherwise, he sinks like a stone.

I only hear and read Democrats offering solutions, ideas and leading the nation, while the Republicans are just saying NO to everything.

I’ve been a business owner and Republican and have been all my life. Now completely Independent. I don’t play the ‘Superbowl’ of American politics anymore. This push by the Health Insurance companies is just nutz. Obama did not want to change health care, nor will he. He just wants to look like he tried. He’s as sold out as Bush was. After a 15 trillion dollar screw up by Texas Senator Graham, pushing an amendment that let banks bet off the books, all of congress signed on and Bush signed it, now all of a sudden we’re worried about a trillion dollar health care plan? I hope you all understand just how bad corruption and the almighty PAC contributions are corrupting all politicians to the point of tearing down all of what made America great. 50 million Americans don’t have health care, about another 50 million have completely inadequate health care and in the end, your health care will get dropped as well. Amazing how stupid Americans have become. PAC wins again and Americans lose again. Congratulations! You all have become quite the Indentured Servants…

Thats untrue, and its mainly do to being shut out by Pelosi and other leftist buffoons. Its also the Liberal MSM acting as Barry’s Marxist “propaganda machine” which demonizes any and all opposing viewpoints which threaten their agenda. Its not for lack of trying or being unable to find alternate solutions – its because they don’t want any interference.
They’ve had proposals, alternative solutions, and suggestions for fine tuning the budget, healthcare, etc. They’ve been shut out and shut down by this administration from day one.
Just the other day, Bobby Jindal had made a case for alternative solutions for healthcare. It was fiscally sound, fair, and logical. Here it is: (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970203946904574300482236378974.html)
Other issues have been proposed on the GOP website – http://www.gop.gov/solutions.
Transparency is a lead-lined brick wall and bi-partisonship was just a catchy campaign term for this administration.

Tony in Largo …
Please do a little research before you make such ridiculous statements …
The GOP has made several wide ranging reform proposals … it is Pelosi/Obama that won’t give them a hearing …
The only “ideas” the Dems are pushing out of their pie holes are pure and simple socialism and doomed to fail …

I hear and read tons of information from both sides. I am definitely for this horrible administration getting the hell out and God fearing men and women filling the vacated positions. Take out the Lord and devils fill the void. America is suffering because we have turned our backs on the only One who can make it great again. Obama is a snake. It surrounds itself with evil. Change the elected! I will surely spread the word. GOD bless America!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WE JUST HOPE THE SCUMCRATS IN CONGRESS REFUSE TO GO ALONG WITH THE SCUMCRAT LEADERS NAMED PELOSI AND REID, AND DO NOT PASS THE HEALTHCARE REFORM. THE ONLY MAN IN AMERICA HAPPY WITH OBAMA THESE DAYS IS JIMMY CARTER. NOW HE WILL NOT GO DOWN AS THE WORSE PRESIDENT IN OUR COUNTRY’S HISTORY.

If you can use this YouTube video of mine, feel free to promote it to advance the fight against ObamaCare.

It is a lyric I wrote for the Metro Omaha Medical Society’s (almost) annual Mess Club show this spring. I recorded my own version and in 2 1/2 days have nearly 4000 views.
ONE SINGLE PAYER SYSTEM
One single payer system that’s what we intend to get
One single payer system perhaps not all of it yet
Something that Bill and Hillary could not do
We’ll just abolish illness with you-know-who
One single payer system everybody gets their share
But we’ll never have to ration care, no way son
Hell, folks he can heal the planet
Disease, well, we’ll simply have to ban it
‘Cause he’s the one
One single payer system like our neighbors the Canucks
One single payer system but ours will be real deluxe
In one fell swoop we’re solving the health care crunch
Who’s says that we don’t believe that there’s no free lunch
One single payer system let’s do it for Uncle Ted
Pretty soon he’s dead, it’s time to get it done
This is change you can believe in
Trust me, you know we ain’t deceiving
‘Cause he’s the one.
One single payer system might be kinda tough to sell
One single payer system won’t leave it up to Michelle
Harry and Nancy you folks can calm your fears
And he’ll get coverage that will fix his ears
One single payer system covers every healthcare need
No time to read the bill just pass Obama Care
But it sounds a little socialistic
This pig is gonna need some lipstick
Obama-care
