I would prefer they watch baseball than borrow billions and raise taxes.
It’s good to know that the state legislators in my home state of Connecticut are busy at work:

It’s a good thing they’re so attentive. I wonder how my family members, who probably voted for these idiots, feel about the fact that their representatives are too busy playing solitaire and watching baseball to pay attention to their jobs.

What do the voters care? They already raised taxes on the wealthy and borrowed more than $1 billion to balance the budget this week. As a voter, I would rather they be playing solitaire and watching baseball. I’m just sayin’.
