Its that delightful habit young ljberals have of assuming that courtesy equals correctness. Ironically enough, they are the first to become shrill and discourteous when proven incorrect. Ms McCain clearly has a delicate ego, and some decent narcissism to boot. These attributes can become positive if you are skilled at something. MacArthur was narcissistic. Machiavelli had a delicate ego. Both were brilliant, and had ample talents. Ms McCain’s talent seems only to be that she is ample.

Moderation is the siren’s song for the Narcissist. It’s the lull of false stability, the lie that life is free from outliers, black swans, tyrannies, haters and killers as much as it is free from idealists and dreamers, Gandhi and Martin Luther King, Ronald Reagan and the founding fathers. It embraces the tasteless mush of British food at the expense of any aspiration for great food, in a deluded self-sacrifice that nature ignores in the attempt to avoid the terrible food.

Meghan and her father are unfortunate reality avoiders, likely due to his suffering in Vietnam, who have deluded themselves into believing their self-sacrifice ritual which rejects all that is great will avoid all that is evil. The reality is that their very rejection of the Great is itself Evil. By rejecting the Great, they eliminate the opposition to the Evil and open the gates for its reception. They furthermore perpetuate the myth of avoidance, lulling countless fools into the mediocre middle where they are prey for the slaughter, while disarming defenders against Evil of any capacity to prepare.

“Don’t speak bad words and god help you if you prepare for a fight! It’ll just invite the bad people. The monsters won’t notice us if we don’t provoke them!”

I find it especially ironic that most of those who criticize Senator Lieberman more often than not have never run for elected office. But as the old saying goes, those that can’t do, criticize.

I don’t like Meghan McCain either, but remember “politics of civility.” Or something like that.

Hate is a strong feeling. I’m a firm believer that you can only hate someone you’ve actually met. However, you can really, really, really, really, really, really…. really dislike someone you’ve never met. It happens.

And as far as that my generation doesn’t respond to negative attacks. BULL-CRAP!!

I’m from her generation and we are some of the most self centered, self righteous, angry, sorriest SOBs on the planet. (I’ve grown out of it.) All we respond to is negativity. Look at some one O’s younger supporters. There lies the most vitriol ever spewed in politics. Even some of the nicer ones, hate instinctively. I had (HAD) a friend who was nice in person, but she HATED Palin, and Palin had only been around for two weeks at the time. After seeing someone turn so ugly and hateful instantly at the mention of a name, I had to re-evalute everything. I refuse to be that person.

Short story: It’s the ME generation and ME will get what ME wants, and if not, ME F-IN’ HATES YOU!!!
